Lulu and Lizzie

Lulu was a happy poodle because Lizzie made it home in time for Christmas after being stuck in the New York City snow storm. All’s well that ends well.

You never fail to amaze us with you wonderful stories, recipes, your wonderful pets, and last but not least your beautiful kids!!!! Lizzy looks like my niece Bridget, who was a “Miss Wisconsin” for a fraternitity in Racine, where she went to school….
I’am really going to write my book….you should write one too, as you are really funny and speaking of WW. We have been snowed in, out in Shawnee for 2 days…on Christmas Eve we had to go to church..(we wanted to also), as I was part of the Altar guild(Carol) so reluctantly we went….(NOT THE NEW 2010 Camaro, though) Terry would NOT drive as he hates to drive on ice and snow…(I’m not though, as we lived in Minnesota for 30 years!!!!!, “Hello!!!!!” We got there safely though and the service was wonderful…(I couldn’t wait for my mini cup of wine and the one wafer!!!) Terry was pacing after the service but I had to get the altar ready for the second service as Linda (the head of Altar guild was counting on me)soooooooooooo!!!! I got the Altar ready….with-out Terry’s help…and lo and behold I finished and I came out into the santuary and NO Terry….he went downstairs with the choir as he heard there were TREATS!!!! Wow! I got down there so fast the minister’s head was turning around!!! The treats we’re wonderful!!!! Terry did NOT have any, but I chose mine carefully!!! One or two pieces of salami (I know-not the best choice, but not the worst) and a few pieces of cheese!!!! So far so good!!!! The eleven O’clock service was cancelled because of the weather.
The ride home was slow, but very event-ful ,as Terry was telling me where to go, and how to drive!!!!!” Your too far over to the right…Oh NO!!! you almost hit them, to ” You are too far over to the left now!” I calmly said (HA! HA!)” Remember, we drove in MInnesota for over thirty years!!!!” By the time I got home I was a nervous wreck and I did succome to a rather large Kahluah and Cream…”Shamies” then I drank ton’s of water, we opened our wonderful gifts…(Terry was sad, about his brother) so I knew we just had to go to bed.
To my surprize we woke up Christmas A.M. and he had made me a WW breakfast!!!!!
Wow!!!! Now we are cooking!!! Penzey spices and all!!! (Poached egg without salt, yougert, and a piece of sort of dry toast!!!) Not bad, huh?
I don’t want to go on forever, but I could…..as you know I like to talk..my favorites gifts we’re a ‘ SNUGGLE” from Walgreen’s and a “BOOM BOX” from Walgreen’s so I listenened to my new BARBRA STREISAND tape over and over with my 3 cats!!! “Here’s to LIFE, HERE”S TO LOVE, HERE’S TO YOU.” Fabulous album!!!
Anyway, “Here’s to Life, here’s to Love, here’s to you and your family for a wonderful, fun, Newyear!”

    Cheers!!!!

Carol Love…Terry too…Rocket, Runway and Casey!!
