Forget the Turkey — Pass the Cranberry Sauce!

Whitman was a puppy when he last wore his Thanksgiving sweater. He donned it yesterday and it seemed a bit…snug. Sorry Whit, no pie for you.

Whitman is a very hungry poodle and he loves turkey, so he’s really looking forward to this Thursday. The humans in his life are more excited about the cranberry sauce.Why?

Take a look at the recipe. It’s called Cosmopolitan Cranberry Sauce because you add 1/3 cup of vodka and 3 Tbsp. of Grand Marnier to the cranberries after they’ve been cooked & cooled.

The first year I made it, Liz sat down with it at the table and didn’t want to pass it to the next person. I think she was joking when she asked for a straw but I can’t be sure.

This year I’m making a double batch — one for Liz and one for the rest of us.
