Good Eatin’ in Bozeman

by Anne Bennett on September 2, 2009

get-attachment-6aspxChamp has finally found the tiny cafe with home cookin’ that he always dreamed he’d find on a road trip. Behold the Stockyard Calfe (you read it right) in Bozeman, Montana.

It’s only open one to two days a week; the boys lucked out and hit it on an open day.

get-attachment-4aspxThe owners are the guy in the cowby hat and the woman in red.

When Champ told the owner about my hungry poodle blog, she replied that she wasn’t familiar with that variety of cow but that all the cows she knew were certainly hungry so it sounded plausible.

One of the benefits of traveling the back roads is that you are likely to meet all kinds of wonderful people. What a country!

I love places like this!!! You get to meet cool people and since there is usually nothing “healthy” to eat it’s just a good excuse ot eat what they got………Montana’s got to have some might fine burgers don’t you think???
