Holiday Greetings from the Hungry Poodles!

by Anne Bennett on December 23, 2013

Merry Xmas

Julia and Lulu were very fortunate to have been gifted these infinity scarves (made for them by Weight Watcher member Myra) because the high today in Kansas City is 12 degrees F. Snowing too!

I’m making this minestrone soup for tonight’s dinner. It’s got plenty of healthy veggies including carrots, potatoes and kale, but it also has tortellini, which adds a robust stick-to-your-ribs quality that we could use right now. Bonus: it goes together without too much effort, thus giving you plenty of time to plan and prepare more formal Christmas fare over the next few days.

The poodles and I would like to extend to everyone our most sincere wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a healthy new year. In 2014 we plan to continue to remind all of our dear friends, old and new, to eat your vegetables!

The girls look fabulous! Whitman needs one, too! Wishing you all a very merry (hospital-free) Christmas.
