Eureka! Spring has finally arrived in the American Midwest. The hungry poodles and I are getting out and enjoying the sunshine while we can, because as they say in these parts, “If you don’t like the weather in Kansas, stick around for five minutes.” It’s balmy now, but by mid-week they’re predicting rain and much cooler temps.
This morning I’ve got sourdough bread dough rising and home made yogurt in my yogurt maker. For dinner tonight I’m making a light Greek Salad with Chicken that we last enjoyed during a fierce summer heat wave, only this time around we won’t wilt while we eat it.
And who knows what adventures the pesky poodles will cook up today? It almost scares me to consider the possibilities.
