Shut Down the Fat Talk

by Anne Bennett on December 19, 2013

At Weight Watcher meetings I often talk about how we’re all in this together. Whether you have 5 pounds or 100 pounds to lose or even if you’re at goal, we’re all on the same lifelong journey to become stronger and healthier. And when we help each other, we help ourselves.

The folks at Kellogg’s Special K think that in order for women to be successful at weight loss, they must stop the fat talk.  Not sure what that is? Watch the video above and then ask yourself: do you engage in this kind of self-talk?  If so, you’re not doing yourself any favors.

This holiday season, why not give yourself the gift of forgiveness, acceptance, understanding and empowerment? Remember, however, that in order to be truly empowered you must first get on your own team.  Go me! Go you! Go us!

No more fat talk!

I so believe in this.
Now, if I could only convince myself.
