It’s cold here, very cold (less than 30 degrees F.), and for the last week I’ve been sitting upstairs huddled under a comforter with my laptop, my books and my poodles, trying to keep warm. Then I came upon this article in the Health section of the New York Times.
Basically, it says that people who sit around a lot have shorter lives. Here I am curled up with the poodles and I’m reading that if I maintain this position I’ll wind up with the actual lifespan of a dog! (Sorry Lulu and Isabel.)

You too can have the lifespan of a poodle. Just do what they're doing right now! (As you can probably tell, they've got the technique perfected!)
