The Best Kind of Immortality

by Anne Bennett on April 22, 2010

Actress Bea Arthur may have died last April, but she lives on in this PETA ad, where she excoriates McDonald’s for their inhumane chicken slaughtering practices.

If you are a regular customer at Mickey-D’s (as are many parents whose children love those tidy, perfectly formed, edible food-like chicken nuggets), I encourage you to boycott the place until their CEO commits to a more humane slaughtering method.

By the way, you know that there are plenty of valid reasons to avoid McDonald’s altogether, but for now this one screams louder than all the others.

Hi Anne,
I was at your WW meeting this Tuesday and have been checking out your blog. Love it! Your ad above reminded me of this article that I just read this morning. Check out the “fast food hamburger”….you’ll never want to eat one again!
